Street skating unfortunately tends to require more than just a patch of flatground. Rails, ledges, stairs, whatever. Post up pictures or descriptions of your favorate spots for street skating!

Myself, I tend just to skate street at my local skatepark its only 15mins away. But if I move into the west end next year for Uni, there are a lot of smooth spots there I feel I'd have to take advantage of.

Been skating the park lately since I got my license plus my town isn't the greatest on spots, the only decent ones around you get kicked out quickly anyways. Been practicing manny tricks lately but since the park has no pad I use the bottom flat of the mini ramp when no one is skating it as a manny pad. Got a few tricks today too but they're being saved, thinking about putting together a street part.

Better yet, I'll describe all WHAT particular things I like to skate up at skateparks when I go to skate street.

Usually first things first. I'll ollie off the 3&4 stairs there...getting use to it. After I try boneless off of them (OF COURSE).Usually I like jumping off the 5 foot ledges! After I get comfortable with that, I try 180s, Nose Grab and if I'm feeling balzy...Boneless.

The skatepark I would go to was always crowded in the afternoon since it was across the street from the high school. But in the mornings when no one is bound to get in your way, I'd like to just practice and make up my own runs. example: ollie on this then 180 off this and nose slide this... Sometimes I can't get it down as clean as I'd like it to be...but then its just so fun at times where I catch myself just cruising my runs! Like the vert side...sooo fun just being in those bowls and what not. Even though I can't do any air tricks.

There is an 8 stair that I'm soo scared of. I want to Nose Slide the ledge so bad, I KNOW I can do it, but....I can't bare with the mistakes I'll make until I get it down for sure.
For those who saw my Video, theres that wall I LOVE doing boneless off of. I think it's the easiest thing in the world, but, FREAKING FEELS SO FUN DOING IT...everyone seems to dig it to. lol...I'm the dude at the skatepark doing Boneless off everything. At times it may seem like thats all I do that day but sabes que (know what)...I really don't care. ;)

Sorry to bore you all! Oh yeah, Usually when I smoke 'mind altering' drugs before the skate park...freaking great! But don't recommend it...bad bad bad! ;)

Smoking just the right amount of weed makes my friend a better skater, he landed a tre flip down a four set for the first time that way. :P

lol, dangerous activities + 'mind altering drugs' feels like such a winner combination to this cautious old man.

Several of the local skaters say their skating improves with help.

this made me laugh.

anyway, my local park is awful now that i have moved away form london, however there are some really good spots i like to skate here including a selection of high marble blocks, a gap to manual pad and a couple of bank/manual pad looking things.

I said pretty much the same thing, but if you saw my skatepark you wouldn't call it Park skating either. Everything's either bust or was mince to begin with.

The best thing there is a stolen roadwork barrier, the type that looks like a portable fence with 2 slats. I'd call it a street obstacle myself, even though its not really in the streets anymore. I've been trying to hippy jump the top slat while my board rolls under the bottom one, but if you know the things I mean it's pretty damn high.

:( You all are jerks!
Merely meant I skate the street part of the parks instead of the vert side.

though there is a skatepark in my town i prefer to "rock" the streets ) because they have so many unique spots, gaps, "raw" and "hard to land" surfaces and sometimes you go to place where you was walk a long time ago, before you go crazy about skatin', suddenly understand that is a sick spot! let's try smth here!
school stadium near my house has a nice objects on which i try gettin rad )))
the "battery" and "idea's ocean" for me is 80's of Thrasher mag
